Hi, I’m Amy Guerrier, we met briefly on the Home Page, welcome to Wholehearted AF.
Of course, I’m not doing this alone, I have a wonderful team working alongside me including my life partner Nicholas and our ridiculously cute Cavapoo sidekick, Sunny Sunshine, you’ll see him around.
You may have guessed by now that we are not a conventional training business, can you guess what the AF stands for in our name?
This represents our commitment to stepping into the edges of our comfort zone, being bold, being courageous and doing the things we really want to do.
We have guided 1000’s of individuals to discover it for themselves. Through the WholeheartedAF Method™ we consistently witness people transform into expressive, confident, and inspired people.
This is a win for business, a win for relationships and a win for community.
Wholehearted AF embodies and trains people in wholehearted values.
Not only this but playfulness is at the core of our business culture.
Play is an absolute necessity to living a life of true fulfilment.
But it’s not just about fun and games (although that happens a lot).
The science of play is clear; we need play for homeostasis regulation, that’s a fancy way of saying we need play to ensure our brain chemistry remains balanced.
OR – If we don’t play, we become rigid in our thinking, our creative juices stop flowing and we no longer think outside the box!
This is why the Wholehearted AF Method is so effective for so many people. It taps into the way our brains want to learn and expand. Our workshops and training programs are not only fun and engaging, but truly transformative.
Holy smokes does this world need more playful, confident and contributing human beings.
With an increasingly disengaged workforce, mental health issues such as anxiety and depression are on the rise. Isolation and loneliness are increasing. People are losing the interpersonal skills that are so necessary to build thriving workforces, relationships and lives!
Throw in a global pandemic with two years of uncertainty and lockdowns and we see a real human connection problem that needs attention now if we are going to grow and contribute in this economic climate
As the psychologist Brian Sutton-Smith said, ‘the opposite of play is not work, the opposite of play is depression’.
That’s why we are WholeheartedAF, because we love to see people shine, to see people laugh and smile, to play and grow, to be fulfilled in their work, business, relationships and their life.
It’s no small thing.
People make a culture, and a good culture makes a life worth living.
The science and statistics are clear, mental health is getting worse, dissatisfaction and disengagement at work are increasing.
This means that businesses and organisations will NEED to invest in their culture to avoid these disconnections…
WholeheartedAF utilises cutting edge pro-social sciences and the neuro-science of play, communication, language, emotional literacy and human connection.
